Beautiful shot, very frightening too. I love the colours, being slightly sepia toned.

amazing transitional armors :D

And the pic too is cool, with this perspective and the light between "the profession of arms" and "band of brothers" :)

thanks. Yes I use sometimes PS, but I prefer working in Lightroom. In few photos I was changing background, but only when its really needed for better effect. In this photo I blurred bg for better overall look. Now I try to make interesting result by using lenses with good light (f1.4-f2.0), you can check what they can do - sigma 50mm f1.4 [link] canon 135mm f2.0 [link] canon 85mm f1.8 [link] - I love them! :)

Wicked cool! That looks like a crazy amount of fun. Fun aside, the picture is a great action shot and I like how you are able to capture the shine of the armor without getting a glare. Very neat!

it's only good when it's fun, sadly it wasn't 600 years ago. Now we can keep memories alive in positive way

Oh no, 600 years ago at the actual battle of Grunwald would not be somewhere I would have wanted to be - despite some epic displays of heroism - but the full-go reenacting looks like an awesome time. ;)

Great picture; I hope the fighter on the bottom got his head back before that hand-and-a half sword came down.

Hope the fighter at the bottom got his head back up before that sword came down.

One of the best pictures I've seen of modern armored combat.

I suppose that in this case, the trick, "Behind you!" would have worked...

wonderful action shot but tell me, do they really hammer each other or gentle pushes? because that guy behind is capeable of killing one of them with a headcut

My god I wish we had this kind of thing in Brazil. But unfortunately by the time you guys had full gothic armor and fortesses we only had straw huts and blowguns. Is this any safe? I mean, can't you get hurt really badly?

:P

Its safe when you have good equipment with proper light armor - [link]
Most important is good helmet with light armor neck protection.
My photos were taken during really hard, full-contact fights 5v5. Most of knights on picture are good equiped.
So usually you have contusions like in other sports

dzięki i pozdrawiam
